From Eagle to DipTrace
I enjoy a lot learning to create my first schematic and produce my first printed circuit board using eagle: the interface is very old-style, but the software is powerful and allow to express all my creativity in designing electronic projects. Eagle is alsp used quite a lot in the open hardware and makers community, but I discover another great tool to develop my printed circuit board: DipTrace.
It has a nicer GUI, and it is very powerful and most important thing: can import schematics, board layouts, libraries from eagle, so I don’t lost any of my work.
There is a free version limited to 300 pin connection, but without limitation on board area, but I’m evaluating to buy an upgrade license considering that it is not so expensive.
